… couple of years is not sustainable. Not from Apple’s perspective, not from the user’s perspective. I think nerds like us need to stop expecting miracles, even from trillion-dollar companies. Yes, and an M2 AIR may be faster, but do you need Word to open in 2.5 seconds rather than 2.9? Once Word, Chrome, PPT, is open, computers are dumb terminals. The CPU and GPU power is not all that critical path for 95% of computer users.
