I wrote a post on Facebook today that voiced some of my skepticism about enlightened leadership and why they still need the money. If Robert (Rich Dad, Poor Dad) is hawking a 19.95 per month newsletter that he assures me will lead me to a better, more prosperous life, why isn’t he giving it away? If Oprah and Deepak are so “well off” why are they still charging so much for messages of love and harmony that could raise everyone on the planet to the next level of existence?

Okay, I have a philosophical question for my spiritual seekers in the group: If you’ve “made it” (ex: Oprah, Deepak, Robbins) why do you need to keep selling your classes, meditations, webinars, for $100’s and $1,000’s of dollars? If you have attained enlightenment (which I’m guessing most of these big winners have not) wouldn’t it be most compassionate and “of service” to give your wisdom and great teachings away? When I see Oprah pitching frozen dinners and selling Deepak meditations, I’m curious, “What does Oprah need more money for?” The standard line is, so…
