TV in the Time of Ukraine

The images are hard to watch. That’s why I use my YouTube TV page (Google TV) to check-in throughout the day.

From this view, I can see the crawlers underneath the headlines. I can scroll over to see what Faux News is spewing. And I don’t have to open a single channel or listen to the noise of the commercials.

As we move into more volatile times I think it is important to limit our exposure to media and advertising.

How do you limit TV’s influence in your life? In what ways can you protect yourself and your kids from mass media indoctrination? Where do you get your media?

Today’s view is a bit cooler, I’m amazed The Office ALWAYS on, and it provides a great counter-weight to the heaviness of the news.
