It's true. Our reptilian brain makes us think only of procreation. And the media and advertising world gives us younger and younger heroines. I was watching a show recently, with my girlfriend, also in her late 50's, and I commented on how sexy the young woman was in the show. (I mean, look at Game of Thrones, or the new Mother of Dragons. It's rediculous.) I googled her. She was 32, her male costar was 52. WTF? Why did the show runners feel the need to cast such a young woman. Well, sex sells. Youth is a brand and a religion. I'm sorry most of my neaderthal brothers are stuck in some Lolita fantasy. The best caution I ever heard about the age gap issue was this. "Imagine sitting around with her friends. What do you have in common? What do you talk about? Do you care about the Kardashians or Real Housewives?

10-years younger when you are in your 50's is not as big a gap. But dating a 20-year-old while I'm in my 50s? WTF Elon? You think she's dating you because of your masculine pale hairless chest?

Cheers.
