Honest read, Lisa. Thank you. As a man, my dialogue is more about fitness than beauty. If I can suck my stomach in just a bit more I can imagine I don’t have love handles. I got down to my 20’s weight a few years ago. I loved the way I looked. I did not like starving myself. I like a bowl of queso every now and then. And I like how I look better at about 10 pounds lighter than I am now. BUT, I am who and where I am right now. And I am learning to look in the mirror, grey hair and all, and say, “Here’s lookin at you kid.” More in a “Caddyshack” Bill Murray voice than a Bogart voice. I’m okay. You’re okay. Let’s learn to be okay together, side by side, men and women.

Thank you for your courageous post.
